Wiard’s Night Terrors: Haunted Thrill Park<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wiard’s Night Terrors is Michigan’s nationally recognized haunted thrill park, located conveniently in Ypsilanti. If you think you have what it takes to brave the scares, you can grab your Double Fright tickets for $36.75 or go big with the Triple Terror package that includes single admission to The Asylum, The Ultimate Haunted Barn, and The Mindshaft. Attractions remain open on weekends through November 1st \u2014 so grab a group of friends and see who screams first. Onsite parking is complimentary and while there is no age requirement, the thrill park states that the attractions aren’t recommended for kids 12 and under. If you’ve visited Wiard’s before, the park makes changes every year, including new sets, animatronics, and new tech, so grab your tickets for the newest, scariest additions this Halloween season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terrorfied Forest<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Terrorfied Forest is in fact a real forest, so skip the flip-flops or high heels and opt for closed-toe shoes. For the average visitor, the forest takes 30-45 minutes to get through and the route is just over a mile long. You can purchase tickets for the Terrorfied Forest onsite or online, with general admission options as well as VIP passes available. The Ultimate Zombie Pass features a complimentary drink, a cool souvenir medal, and a zombie butler! Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest nights during the Halloween season, with wait times for certain attractions potentially being several hours long. Thursdays and Sundays are good options for those who want shorter wait times. Parents know their children best, but the attraction is recommended for ages 13 and up. Concession stands are available with snacks, treats, and delicious donuts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slaughterhouse Adventure & Grand River Corn Maze<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All outdoor haunts open at dusk and close when the last body falls. This being an outdoor location, events may be closed due to bad weather so attendees should check the website and Facebook page<\/a> for updates. All haunts at Slaughterhouse Adventure are cash only. Pricing is set at $20 for one event and $35 for two events. Escape rooms and the non-haunted corn maze are priced separately. The non-haunted corn maze is open every Friday and Saturday and is a great option for younger children who may be unable to handle the more adult themes and scares inside of the other attractions. The haunted house will take you through another dimension, with scares around every corner. Attractions for the 2024 season are open so check the website for dates and ticket information!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This action-packed haunt experience isn’t for the faint of heart. If you dare to cross the threshold of insanity and come face-to-face with your deepest, darkest fears \u2014 grab your tickets now! Tickets to The Scream Machine are priced at $30-$36 for Fridays and Saturdays through early November. If you enjoy puzzles and problem-solving, there are Halloween-themed mini escape rooms that you can participate in after the haunt for only $7 per person. Additional events at The Scream Machine include lights-on trick-or-treating on October 20th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for only $10 per trick-or-treater. Tickets will be available at the door and costumes are encouraged! This is a great option for families with younger children who don’t want to be scared as much as they just want candy. There will also be an opportunity to experience the haunted house scenes and sets without the additional intense environmental factors and frights that are present during normal operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General admission tickets start at $19.99 and include access to all four haunted attractions, which are conveniently linked together on one contiguous path. For an additional $12, you can add fast pass admission which cuts your average wait time by 60%+. Adult visitors may be interested in the V.I.P. Bar Creep Pass, which gives entry into three secret bars in the haunts. Parking is free and on-site, with an overflow option if the lot becomes full throughout the evening. Attractions at Hush are handicap accessible. While attractions aren’t recommended for children under the age of 12, there are no restrictions in place other than children under the age of 16 having to be accompanied by a chaperone over 21 years old. Costumes are permitted, except for oversized outfits and handheld items such as plastic weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brave the Tortura Castle and prepare to meet the infamous cast of characters, all of who are relentlessly pursuing sinister intentions. Hailing as one of the area’s most bone-chilling haunted houses, visitors should be prepared to have nightmares. The Slay Nights Haunted House attraction is in its third year of featuring 10,000 square feet of an indoor two-story maze, filled with high-tech effects and gruesome scenes. Visitors should expect to spend approximately 25-30 minutes inside of the haunted attraction. Slay Nights is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in October from 7:30 PM to midnight (11:00 PM on Sundays). Pricing is set at $25 per person and quick passes are available for an additional $10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Howling Haunted Trail is unlike any other haunted attraction in the area, mixing both unexpected scares with all the fun of Halloween. Named as one of the top haunts in Michigan, you won’t want to miss out on this attraction! Visitors will check in at the admission gate before heading to the midway for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Halloween-themed music, and plenty of games that will pass the time in line. The D&W food truck will be onsite serving up sustenance, and fire pits will keep you warm. Along the mile-long haunted trail, visitors will come across alive and not-so-alive things that want to come out to play. The trail is not recommended for children or those who are scared easily. Fog, laser lights, and strobe lights are used throughout the attraction so visitors who have health conditions that could be affected by these things may want to reconsider visiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erebus Haunted Attraction<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Are you brave enough to descend into Erebus? Check out one of Michigan’s best haunted house attractions, which is a four-story haunted house and Tower of Terror. Located in downtown Pontiac, Erebus is serving up terrifying thrills, unforgettable memories, and even a few laughs! Visitors will be blown away by the state-of-the-art Hollywood special effects where things will bite you, grab you, and try to elicit a scream or two from you. Invite a group of friends to embark on the half-mile indoor walk through one of the largest haunted houses in the world. Erebus has even been featured on the Travel Channel and the Discovery Channel! Tickets are on sale for $25-$39, depending on which date you plan to visit. The attraction is open through November 2nd and is not recommended for children under the age of 13. Parents can wait for their children in the exit lobby if they want to skip the scares themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rotten Manor<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This detailed and immersive haunted attraction includes The Manor, The Rotten Forest\/Asylum, and The Rotten Theatre. Trips through The Manor and The Forest\/Asylum take approximately 35-45 minutes. The Rotten Hayride takes brave guests along a chilling ride through the haunted woods. Performances at the theater last for about 25 minutes and span a variety of immersive horror-themed shows that take a deep dive into who Mr. & Mrs. Rotten are and how they came to reside at the Rotten Manor. If that wasn’t enough, there is also a midway full of carnival-themed games and activities that the entire family can enjoy. Ticket prices for the 2024 season are set at $25 per attraction, or you can snag a combo or quad ticket package for $40 or $75, respectively. Tickets are sold onsite at the ticket booth. There is an ATM on site and the attraction is cash only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shawhaven Haunted Farm: A Haven of Fear<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the 19th year, Shawhaven Haunted Farms is back with 140 acres of fear. Each year, the haunts are newly created to ensure the scares are kept fresh. Shawhaven Haunted Farms is open across four weekends in October, so grab your timed tickets now to skip the lines and face your fears. If you dare, brave the 3D psycho-path to gain admittance into the Circus Zone before heading on a trip into the Freak and Oddities Show. There are also escape room activities which are priced at $5 per person per room. During your visit, make sure to check out the Shawhaven Farms corn maze and pumpkin patch! Visitors should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes that can get muddy. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a shocking 70,000 square feet of attraction, this is one of the largest haunts in the tri-state area. The best news? Children under the age of 10 are not advised to visit, though there is no hard and fast restriction on this. Parents are granted sole discretion. Strobe lights and fog are used throughout the attractions, so if you have concerns about these immersive additions \u2014 ask questions ahead of time or skip the attraction. If you survive the night, treat yourself to donuts, cider, hot chocolate, and ice cream at the Past Tense Cider Mill & Restaurant. Tickets are priced between $10-$15 for individual attractions or you can grab a combo package for $30 that grants you admission into all three attractions.
